Despite what you may have heard or read - Wagamama in Melbourne (QV and Flinders lane) fry their tofu in the same equipment as non-GF food.
I ordered a meal there that was on their special GF menu only to find out the above fact when I asked the waiter. |

thanks for the heads up, were you able to follow this up with the management? perhaps they are not aware of the stringent requirements to make meals totally gluten free? |

Hi all, Don't go to wagamama!! I ate there on Monday and have been sick ever since!!! (almost a week now) I had the vegetarian rice soup noodles without the tofu (the Gf menu says the tofu is gf - but the chef leaves it out). I was diagnosed 6 mths ago and this is the first time I've been sick for more than a day & it sucks!! I've made a complaint to management but I haven't heard back yet. |

Hey there, I have read this book on making gluten free food at home and have tried some of its receipes - absolutely delicious! The book saves me going to a gluten free shop or restaurant. It's definitely worth a read, check it out:
